wife just baked cookies and more brownies.

i had bought a gallon of milk this morning

as the little ones are spending the night...they are actually on the way here now.

in the morning i will make up pancakes and corned beef hash for me and the wife.

with any luck, they will not stay up past 8...
 
First and only winter fire so far. Finally warm enough with little wind.

Just finished my coffee and looking forward to going on base tomorrow to check my government e-mails. I'm being forced to use all my annual and sick leave and not being allowed to work because of my physical conditions. I'm hoping to see an e-mail from Mr. Musk, as I'm ready to let him know of all the fraud, waste, and abuse I've seen here over the years. I'll invite him here and personally escort him around, pointing out everything I mentioned. I wish there was a way I could access my government e-mails from home, but I can't on my personal computer. I can only access my government e-mails through a government computer. Tomorrow will be interesting.
 
well the moms picked up their tiny terrorists, as i was out shopping..the local supermarket has Irish Soda Bread on sale....

its usually pumped out before, during and a little past, St. Paddy's Day.

not very large, and if you slice it too fast, it crumbles...but slobber some butter on it or jam, and its heavenly

I plan on unpacking my 2 box bullet order today. My cabinet I use to store them and primers in is kinda full so I may need to clean out another one so I have a place to put them. I'll need to reload shotshells, but that may wait until one of the weekdays. I have two Lightning rifles to experiment with OAL, but I now have the bullets to allow me to do that. The sooner I get one of them happy, the sooner I get my '73 back from my wife. :cool: I also have a pile of guns to clean, but I'll put that off as long as I can since it's not a favorite thing to do. With so much to do, I may get distracted from my things to do list.

Coffee number two. Slept late (very late for me). Woke up at 6:30 with 10 scale shoulder pain, got up for a minute and decided to try and sleep it off. Well, I did. I also had a very vivid dream about working as a security officer at the college I worked at up north. My partners were there, they hadn't aged a bit. The place was strange. My duty belt was missing most of my gear and I remember thinking how am I gonna fill out patrol reports without my glasses? :oops:
Man, my brain has been doing weird :poop: lately in my sleep. I wish it would knock it off. That dream was so real that when I woke up two hours later, I didn't know where I was for a sec.

Anyway...it's going to be another gorgeous day in the 30s, sun is shining. But I have to do everything I didn't do yesterday today. Housework, laundry, blah blah. Maybe I'll strip down a gun or two 😊.
