Never with my Privately Owned Firearms but had to with the M21 Sniper Rifle I was assigned and again later in my military career with the M242 25mm Bushmaster Automatic Chaingun in the M2 series BFV’s that I was the Track Commander of.

Ball park just for changing recoil springs etc .i also usually do an annual full disassemble and inspection. (Yes I treat my guns a lot better than my lawn mower but my lawnmower is treated better than 80% of most)

I have an OG Canik SFx with 48k rounds on it including 4600 at major power factor levels. Have a duplicate SFx with 12k.
My Ronin EMP 3 has almost 1500 on it.
My Springfield XDm 10 4.5 OSP has a modest 750 rounds down the pipe. My XDm Elite 3.8 10mm has 500 rounds.
My Taurus GX4 has almost 5k on it and is a 100% reliable pistol. Not a single failure of any kind whatsoever.
My Taurus Raging Hunter 6.75 454 Casull has 150 rounds on it.
Taurus TX22 is at 10k.
Sig P365 is at 900.
Beretta Pico has 100 on it.

That is all I have info on at hand. The rest is in the vault and well....you get the picture.

I could see doing this on a specific gun for whatever reason but when you have multiple guns that you shoot it would be too much to keep a round count on each gun in a spreadsheet.

if i was going to go out on a LIMB
my fist xd 9mm service pistol has the most and its been in my life since 2008
so a SWAG is between 5000 and 9000 rounds
it like shooting it , it always is perfect fit in my ape hands

Precision rifles, yes.

Pistols? No, other than firing a break-in phase.

What’s scarier is when you add up how many guns you actually have versus the number you’ve been telling yourself!
