Taking the Echelon Out to 200 Yards

interesting take but while long on distance, short on practicality. Who needs or will ever need to make night shots, with that blazing light at such distances? Shooting at what? whom? why? seems like a stunt. The CQB lads train for rationale short distances and will own up to actually not engaging (or very very rarely) with a pistol at an advesary never mind the range. We have rifles for longer ranges. IMO

Hi,

Yeah, that looks fun and all. But I doubt I could see a full size silhouette at 200 yards. I've put on a few hits at 50 yards. Maybe I just need more practice.

You guys may be correct re: effectiveness at distance with 9mm. I have seen 9mm go through 3/4" plywood at 100 yards, but that was from a PCC. Still, it's just fun to hit stuff at greater distances even though it may not be practical in the real world. It's a good skill to have, just in case. ;)

I'll yell at the bad guy 200 yards away, "Hey! Hold on a minute while I set up my bench rest!"

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff
