What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

Drat ¡ l didn’t read the label closely , and the box was proper size , but it was 500 of these instead .

Cards with the name of my YT channel , with the acoustic guitar design to hint the content includes Bluegrass , and Traditional Country that sounds like Bluegrass .

( But one video is gun related . Click to see list of Shorts , and on the bottom row , the one that looks like a green firefly , is the green laser on my G22 , projecting 50 yards across my " yard " .)

Just got this 4 spring trigger tuning set from Armor Craft for my Sig P-365 Fuse. Their guarantee says ignition will be 100% reliable. Have my doubts these springs will accomplish all that is advertised. My local gunsmith will install the springs and of course hope they will help the terrible trigger on my 365.
Glad to report the trigger spring kit for my P-365 Fuse works as was advertised. Before the kit trigger pull averaged 6lb 3oz now averages 4lb 8oz, less than 1/4" take up very little over travel and short re-set. Gunsmith test fired 5 rounds all had strong primer strikes.

Today’s acquisition, came with original box, manual, id band and 5 mags. I tested it this afternoon and she ran like a champ. So I submitted the Form 1 for it, ordered an 8 5/8th inch “FBI” threaded barrel, so I can get rid of that nasty 16” schnozz hanging out the front.

Shes from around 2010 and the original owner, if he fired a mag out of it I would be surprised. I think this afternoon I put more rounds through her than she has ever had.

That looks pretty fun!

Thank you for your indulgence,

I got bored on a distillery tour in Kentucky with @KillerFord1977 and friends and I decided to see if Locked Loaded still had the new VP9A1 F for a crazy price. They did.

The gun is still made in Germany and imported by HK USA, but the hard case has been replaced by a fancy, schmancy cardboard box with heavy marketing wrap. The gun comes in a nylon folio, which I quite like. It's clear HK USA is shedding some its conservative German stoicism.

The VP9A1 F has a 4.5 inch barrel and shoots exactly as expected - which is astounding. You really notice the extra 1/2 of barrel (cue @Annihilator). The trigger has definitely improved, even when compared to the trigger jobs I have on my legacy VP9s. It has a really nice, sharp break and the usual shortish reset. The slide lock has supposedly been improved, but I still only get slide lock 50% of the time. The big difference on the new gun is the grip. The VP9A1 has eliminated the finger grooves and now has a flared magwell, which is where I'm having issues. Despite having 4 backstraps and 3 grip panels for either side I cannot get that made for me feel that I get with my legacy VP9s. Having a flat front to the grip and the magwell which flares at the bottom on either side makes the grip feel fat, whichever combination of backstops and side panels I use. I'll get used to it, but I'm a little disappointed to be honest. HK supposedly got rid of the finger grooves for the US market. Thankfully, they didn't completely cave and kept the ambi paddle mag release.

Comparison of VP9A1 F and legacy VP9 and contrast of the new grip and the old finger groove grip.

Typical VP9 Targets. Top and Bottom 50 rds each at 15 yards. Center 50 ads at 10 yds. Despite everything, it's a keeper.
