Volunteering as a scorekeeper at a Trap shoot in Carson City, NV with 150+ school kids with shotguns.
Was their second shoot there this year. Had 150+ shooters at the first one as well.
What a great day. Can't think of a better way to spend 7 hours
I just got a 5% discount card in the mail for Scheel's .... It's at least a 5 minute drive from here. Added to my ex military discount. That'll be 10% off.
I will admit to spending more time in the golf section.
My truck gun is a 7.5" AR braced pistol with a Law Tactical Folding adapter. Lives in a sling bag with 3 extra magazines, a med kit and a few other things.
It comes in and out of my truck daily.
My EDC gets cleaned monthly, fired or not.
New guns cleaned before shooting.
Everything else gets cleaned at least twice a year or as needed after a range visit.
Only have one Auto, bought years ago while traveling thru Arkansas at a truck stop.
One of these days I'm going to get a Buck 110 auto .... One of these days
Been shooting gun over 50 years ain't no holes in any of the walls at anyplace I've ever lived.
Last ND I saw was in Cabela's in Hamburg PA, some moron was trying holsters with a loaded gun .... Luckily the only hole was in the roof.
Absolute best AIWB holster I found for my P365 is the Safariland Species holster. Barely notice it while wearing. Seems to disappear, and they're fairly cheap (under $50) compared to most high end holsters
In my training I use 3x5 cards between 3-21 yards. 8 rounds all on the card to move back. Starting at 3y and moving back 3y after each successful target. Miss, start over
I use to do that, doesn't really work the way you'd think. Have a friend who works in a legitimate call center doing cold calls. The company changes their numbers every month.
I tore up my right shoulder about 20 years ago. Spent a week at the range learning to shoot left handed. Thank goodness for 9mm. I'm purdy good either way now. I still practice it a couple times a year.
Yep, did the same thing for a Sig Sauer M18 my LGS had just got in, came with a Leopold Delta Point Pro and a TRL-7a light. Two extended and two flush mags. $600 OTD
One of these days I'll add a WC grip module.
