Just looked it up... The Emissary is "low end" compared to what my Kimber cost.. So welcome to the low end Club...:). But all seriousness... That is a cool gun, and im sure SA will make it right..

Kimber is high end to me...guess it all just depends on your $$ priorities. Is DW ghetto compared to Nighthawk.. ? I will probably never have a safe full of Nighthawks either. Just for the record.. my Rapide 10mm is a 100% reliable/ accurate /work of art. My SR1911 is also a very nice gun. And...

Yea...i tried stuff like that. And she will go once in a while if i make it part of a pic nic date at my fish and game club...lol. She goes with me to the fish frys and other events there..and likes to fish with me in the pond sometimes. Took her to a fast 15 shoot, and a couple of jug shoots...

My Wife and i took our CHL class together and she used my XD for the class. She had no problem with it. So she picked out a XD3 for her carry gun. All was well, but thats not the end of the story. She went with me to the range a few times then completely lost interest in going, but continued...

Oh..and the Ronin is series 70, and i currently only own 1 Springfield, me EDC is an XD, so buying the Ronin will make me feel more a part of the family..:)

I like the Florida law.. But in Ohio 1st time is a trespass charge, 2nd time is a Felony. So i'm not gonna risk it. In the area i live..i can't think of any place that has a no gun sign, other than Govt bldgs. But if i see one..i will just go shop/eat someplace else. I'm not leaving my gun...

Lately i have been thinking about simplifying my caliber situation.. So what do i enjoy shooting the most.. 45acp/45lc/10mm/ 30/30/..... what are my CC tupperware guns 9mm/40. Everybody should have an AR and stock up on 223/556. I guess i could weed out 357mag, but i love my stainless...

I looked for a Kimber Rapide in 45acp for a while.. Had my LGS order me one, it came in as a 10mm. I went ahead and bought it anyway. I'm so glad i did.. I have other 1911s in 45, and love the 10mm. Range ammo dosn't feel much different than a 45. But if you step up to some Hydra shoks...

Now they just knock all the windows out of the police cars, jump on the hood and twerk in front of the dash cam, and set it on fire... and its all good. Just another peaceful protest.

I went to a vocational school my jr and sr year of HS. The FFA kids all had shotguns in the back window rack in their trucks. In the student parking lot... Can you even imagine that now....:oops: Holy s##t...

I agree... But they will say nobody forced you to disarm, and enter their bldg.

It's mostly just Govt bldgs here in Ohio. And you usually know ahead of time, so just leave the EDC at home.

One thing i like about the Mossy/Maverick over the 870, The shell lifter stays in the up position for loading. Makes reloads on the fly quicker/easier. And in the Winter your glove dosn't get stuck in the lifter, rendering the gun useless until you can get it un stuck..
