    Going back to the beginning

The first 9mm pistol I ever fired was a Browning Hi-Power. I was 12 years ago. That was back in 1973. I also fired my first M1911A1 that day. All of this was after I received a through block of instructions from uncle who was a Korean War Veteran. He brought them and other “War Trophies” back...

SigP320 Safety Problems Continue – Resulting In Bans from Police Training Ranges!

I’m not a fan of striker fired pistols. Never owned one. I didn’t like the feeling of the whole system. I’ll stick with what I know. Semi-auto single action pistols and single/double action revolvers.

    Firing Squad

3 riflemen, all with one live round in their rifles, fired from holes in a wall that was facing their target. No one could see the riflemen. That was to protect their identities from the spectators and the media

M113 APC: Ubiquitous Armored Personnel Carrier In Vietnam to Ukraine

When I was a TC (Track Commander) with the 3rd Armored Division in Germany, we were equipped with 4 M113’s per Platoon. Each had a side-by-side mounting system. One was for the M2 HMG and the other was for the M47 Dragon MAW ( Medium Anti-Tank Weapon). We never did any live-firing with the M47...

    death by firing squad today

The firing squad consisted of twelve soldiers selected from the 109th Regiment. The weapons used were standard-issue M1 Garand rifles, eleven of them loaded with just one round and one rifle loaded with a blank round. This is what the US Army did at the last firing squad execution. It was the...

SigP320 Safety Problems Continue – Resulting In Bans from Police Training Ranges!

I’m going to wait until the smoke clears and there’s some concrete independent research with testing and evaluation done before I pass judgment on Sig. I bet some boneheads who blew off the recall from Sig might have had a OH SH#T moment. None of my Army buddies who are still in and went through...

What Discontinued Firearm Would You Like To See Comeback?

I remember when the Colt Delta Elite came out. That was a brilliant marketing move since the Bren Ten turned out to be manufacturing and distribution nightmare. Too bad. Miami Vice was free advertising for it.

What Discontinued Firearm Would You Like To See Comeback?

Yep🤠 That would be Great! Why do all their revolvers that have a 4” or more barrels have to have a full length underlug? I like the old style look better
