With the help of a screw driver, I pulled the clips on the side out and then used the screwdriver to open the bottom of the stapler where the spring is. It just needs a cleaning and some lubricant now. Thanks for your help.

I tried that several times before contacting this site but it doesn't move. I thought there may have been some combination of things to push.

Need help opening the tacker to insert more staples. I could not find anything on YouTube so I hope someone can provide some direction. Thanks.
