    Hellcat Pro 9

I agree on the trigger and not much of a fan of the front sight. I will add neither of those would deter me from purchasing as they are easy fixes

Electric or Gas for a Car

I can see the pros of the EV in certain communities (really nice golf carts :)) I'm afraid I still prefer my Dodge 6.4L Hemi and all that it brings to the table. I think I will be well into my spiritual afterlife before the electric ride has truly taken over.

Break down of the differences between all the Springfield 1911’s?

Very pleased with my Garrisons, feel my Professional is a damn fine gun but if I were going to have only one it would be the TRP and done. Wish i still had mine.

    Home Security

Personally I start small and move outward very slowly. I concentrate on my immediate area and surroundings then incorporate the larger area (possibly a parking lot)which is still probably small for others. Simply stay out of space unless you are invited in and there will be zero issues. The...

    Another Great One passes on.

I grew up for my first 12 years in Benton, IL. There was a Men's Store on E Main (Van de Meer I believe) who was a longtime friend of Dick Butkus. As youngsters we would go in and look at the helmets, jerseys, photos and many other items. Remember it clearly today. Played so damn intimidating on...

To get the jab or not?

Just exited the hospital last Friday after Covid, Pneumonia in the right lung then both lungs and finally getting the flu which was a true blessing because I was then put into isolation. I Have stayed fairly up to date with my vaccines since I've been on that hamster wheel starting around 1965...

    1911

Really enjoy my Garrisons. Last year I bought myself a.45acp and a 9mm and have had no issues. Then I bought my 2 sons 9mm for their birthdays and my son in law .45acp for his birthday. Grandson will be next since he enjoys my 9mm so much. For my clan we all feel the Garrisons perform better...

Will You Be Able to Shoot in Time to Stop an Attack?

I live in a warm weather climate which is very beneficial. In the last few months I have started using Black Arch Holsters (complained non stop about first one but times changed with wear) IWB for my Hellcat Pro, Hellcat and Shield Plus. I wear nice T shirts tucked with an open cover shirt...

The Best Pistol of All Time: The 1911

My favorite platform by far. As soon as I extend the gun I have perfect sight picture and it has been that way from the first time decades ago. I am extremely accurate and never had any real issues (knock wood). I am no longer snobby and a 1911 is a 1911 regardless of caliber (but there is...

Potent Potables (aka What’s your poison?)

Eagle Rare is my favorite Bourbon to pour into a glass, sit back and sip, while enjoying a fine Dominican. I apologize for taking a mental sip of your Manhattan but it looked damn good.

    Fingerpainting Gone Wrong at Daycare

So when I read these articles I always ask myself "How is it possible for the American people to allow someone with this background on a ballot". I am old enough to remember voting for candidates that didn't necessarily align with my views but did so because I thought they would do the best job...

    Why You Should Remain Inside.

Very nice point that isn't expressed enough. My friends/group express opinions that our few non gun (daily carry and rapid ability to purchase) friends (about 4/5 which is their right and glad they feel they can express it) but all fairly avid hunters find surprising. They often assume that we...

Bear Aware: How to Safely Handle a Bear Encounter in the Great Outdoors

Thanks for an informative article. The wife and I are nearing retirement and look forward to spending our 5th wheel time out West. Hope to see wildlife that I don't get to see here and most importantly from a true safe zone for each. I thought the ear shape was something simple and easy to remember.

Canik SFX rival w/mecanik red dot and Aggressive Concealment IWB

Canik is becoming a popular gun at my LGS and Gun club. Personally don't know much about them but I believe it might be a type of competition model that is growing here

Ruger Wants to Know Why Texas’s AG Gave Wells Fargo a Pass on Their Financial Discrimination Policy

Don't get the Cal reference all states recruit hopefully profitable businesses. KP has been a self serving POS for his political career. don't be surprised with these people be surprised with the Politician (party doesn't matter) that actually does the right thing and cherish that brief moment...
