Find this interesting. I fly all over with assorted weapons and never have had an issue. Actually like the fact that when I pick them up I do so so from security room and am gone. No waiting on that damn carousel.

In my state depending on where the incident took place the man could of had issue with the alcohol and the weapon being a box cutter. Not for sure a box cutter would cause me great concern but make it a Machete different story ;)

When does a smallish intended EDC become a duty gun. I have a Pro with Holosun but probably carry my original hellcat more.. If I'm going to carry that many rounds I would probably carry my M&P metal

For an easier shooting round try the Buffalo Bore tactical Low recoil and flash. Around 1300fps with 600lbs energy. Both the wife and i enjoy shooting this round. Like the drive back recoil instead of the snap/flip recoil.

As tougher laws are always discussed I look at Capital Punishment. I always think if tough punishment (laws) were truly effective murder should have stopped very quickly into the first executions. Punishment needs to be dispensed quickly and effectively because IMO it's the right thing to do...

I am also a fan of VZ grips. Have them on all of my 1911's. Many different textures to choose from.

Agree with MTR have several Also give the folks at Muddy River Tactical a call. Might be able to fashion you a nice Kydex holster. Very Good quality and fairly priced.

My outdoor range is patrolled and enforce the rules. The indoor range not so much. I probably leave the indoor range earlier than intended half of the time. I don't shoot there often I might add maybe 20x yearly.
