CZ Scorpion pistol or PC Charger

What's nice is the Scorpion is easier to maintain as opposed to say the Banshee. But please stop posting pictures my bank account already is in distress.

CZ-USA: The Best 9mm Service Pistol?

Since we are doing "opinions "here I am a big H&K fan. I have 5 H&K's and have NEVER had a failure of any kind with any one of them. I think the grip on the P30 series is better than any of the other polymer offerings. While not the best triggers they have a nice selection. I am a LEM fan...

US Senators Use Covid-19 to Push Longtime Gun Control Agenda

So many in power are in love with the power this virus has given them. They should be reminded that NO LAWS WERE PASSED. All this was guidelines. The constitution is still in effect. I would never suggest mass disobedience but perhaps that is what is needed to remind our leaders that they work...

CZ-USA: The Best 9mm Service Pistol?

CZ and Dan Wesson have also worked together to make the DMX a combination of some of the best traits of both guns. Available in 18 and 10 round compact versions. So many great features.

CZ-USA: The Best 9mm Service Pistol?

I have a CZ Phantom and it is one damn accurate handgun. CZ has dominated IPSC for years which has to say something. With 18+1 it is a little big to carry but not impossible. I think the slide inside the rail adds to the accuracy in a big way. I am also a huge H&K fan. I have several with NEVER...

5 Guns NOT to Panic Buy

I would also love to buy those $8 .40 Glocks and I don't like Glocks. Agree completely about small revolvers however as someone said a good S&W 3" is not bad. I took my 686+ (7 round) to my gunsmith and with a few springs and adjustments, $74, I have a really nice trigger that any new shooter...

    Considerations for Lethal Force

I think this was a great article. Training is excellent but very expensive and sometimes can take days and not always convenient to where you live. A lot of "experts" will complain that it is not training but taking part in the shooting sports like USPSA and IDPA can really improve your skills...

    Dissecting Threat Stopping Bullets

Great article and I have to agree that most of the premium well known brands will do a great job as a self defense load. Where I will make a more judicious selection is when loading up a micro handgun like a Sig P365 or Hellcat or even a H&K P30sk and sub compacts of similar size. There is where...

    Jackson, MS suspends Open Carry.......

Mayors try this stuff all the time. Not firearm related but here in Myrtle Beach, SC the mayor a couple of years ago tried to make motorcycle riders wear helmets. He issued tickets and court appearances. The state constitution allows riders to go without a helmet. He lost the fight and wound up...

EDC with optics. One persons perspective.

First, great initial post. Second, some of you guys have some really weird guns.

    Accuracy: It's All Relative

When I used to shoot Bullseye with my Sig Stainless Target I did OK not great. My friend with his Les Baer destroyed the "X" ring as to realistically be unable to count the hits. One day we exchanged guns. Same result. I'm was starting to think it wasn't the gun but maybe the shooter.

    EDC at Home

The problem with having an AR for home defense is that if you miss the round can easily go through your wall and into a close neighbors house.

Editors Choice: Springfield Armory Ronin Operator

Congrats on your new gun. Now Practice, Practice and Practice some more. 1911's are great but need more care than the polymer semi's. Do not be afraid to ask questions but be aware of too many "EPERTS" out there. Also do not be afraid to join a shooting sport like USPSA or IDPA. Watching on TV...

9mm XDM discontinued? Replaced with "Elite" model?

USPSA Production only allows 10 rounds anyway so 19 or 20 capacity is kinda irrelevant.

CZ Scorpion pistol or PC Charger

The CZ design is very easy to clean and maintain. I am not familiar with the Ruger in that regard. There was also recently an article in the NRA mag on all the enhancements made for the Scorpion to customize it. IMO, once you see that happening, other major manufacturer's making custom parts...

    Should I pick up another XD9 4” or 3”?

I would actually buy the subcompact. I have at this time 4 H&K's that rotate as EDC's with some others thrown in rarely. Two are what is considered Compact P30 and P2000 and two are subcompact P30sk and P2000sk. Some are .40 and some are 9mm. There is probably a VP9 in the future. You could also...

5 9mm Revolver Options Sized Right For EDC

Little known fact not all 9mm ammo especially the inexpensive target ammo is compatible to moon clips. Something to keep in mind. A friend has the S&W and while he loves the gun the moon clips are very fragile and all ammo does not work with them.

    Saint AR Pistol Failure

5,56. Edge. While I have heard good things about the 300 Black Out let's just say I have a nice supply of .223 and 5.56 ammo and adding another caliber at this late date in my life didn't seem like a great idea.

    Saint AR Pistol Failure

I purchased the SA pistol a while ago from Grab A Gun for a very nice price, $750, and after about 1000 rounds it has been flawless and very accurate. Granted I have only been able to shoot at an indoor range but at 25 yards my 71 year old body shooting slow can do 5 shot groups silver dollar...
