I wouldn't say the case is fancy but it's pretty decent.

Does attaching that Brace or whatever it's called, like the one in that review turn this into a NFA gun ?
Only attaching a stock would cause this to fall into the nfa category. A pistol brace is totally legal for the moment.

It's just like having a brace on an AR pistol. Fortunately the scorpion has a huge aftermarket so there are some really good options to customize the gun.

Yup, did my research and it was legal then (unless ATF created a recent new ruling). I attached my brace that I bought from Midway USA when it was on sale. As you can see, it's foldable. The folding endplate attachment was bought separately, but installation was less than 1/2 hour.
