No. To my knowledge they only make 4” 9mm optic cut slides for the original XD series. These will fit on the 40 frame with the conversion barrel but no 40 option.
True. The p365 has the holosun k series footprint also I believe it’s sometimes referred to as the modified RMSc footprint. It will accept holosun as well as all the true RMSc footprint optics.

Actually it’s the Holosun that’s not RMSc compatible. The Shield RMSc footprint consists of two screws and four sockets/pegs. The Holosun is it’s own animal.

Duracoat is a cheaper and easier although not as durable option to cerakote. I duracoated a black synthetic butt stock that had faded to a grayish white and it has held up great for years now. It’s basically just a super tough spray paint.
That’s right. I know some brands of barrels are the same diameter from the muzzle back but after checking my 3.8 I see the area near the muzzle is slightly larger to facilitate a tight lock up.
