Accidental Shooting in St. Charles County MO

I remember my dad driving down the road and taking a bunch of bb's to the windshield from a guy and his teenage sons bird hunting. He was pissed, he chewed their azz for shooting towards the road. I think that was taught in the first day of gun safety when I was in the 4th grade, DO NOT SHOOT...

But that should be a personal responsibility to be taken upon by each individual. Much like operating a chainsaw, if you do not know what you are doing, it is your responsibility to learn, before doing so.

    Another assault on the 2nd

My whole thing is, are they going to put serial numbers on knives, hammers, rat poison and everything else that is dangerous or can be used to do harm, if one so desired? Are they going to do a back ground check before you can buy those things? Are they going to register those items to each...

    9mm Luger (FMJ) available

We are seeing around 23 a box, which is to much. but you do not have to pay shipping either. It goes fast still though. I think it will start to calm down here in a few months, people about have to be stocked up by now I would think, as I am not seeing tons of people at the range shooting it off.

    Another assault on the 2nd

The only explanation I can think of is that this governmental administration and everyone in it is on crack. I mean it is like here I will give you 30 choices and they choose wrong 29 times. It almost defies the odds.

    9mm Luger (FMJ) available

That is what we have done is just get a couple boxes when we can find it local, just to shoot. My wife went to town one day without me and came home with 200 rounds of aluminum 9mm. I guess we will try and shoot it. Otherwise we are still sitting on the 1,000 round reserve of higher quality...

    9mm Luger (FMJ) available

No doubt. I am still holding out however. 60 cents per round is just a little to high yet. Once 1000 round cases become more and more available that will be when the price starts coming down to reasonable again.

Nice. That is exactly what I am thinking. Yeah I know the blow back design requires a heavier buffer, I have done every mod possible to reduce recoil in the ar9 I have. Still have not tested it out because of the injury deal, but I am hoping it really tames it down. Not that they kick like a...

That looks a lot like one I would want to build. What is the barrel length on it?

I always thought if we took the camper for longer periods, one with a bunk set up in the back would be nice for extra clothes and even a small deep freeze.

I would like to build an ar9, but I obviously do not know where to look for parts. Everything I find makes the cost to where I may as well buy a complete one.

Well I had planned on a garden, some range time, maybe a little camping, finish a couple things on the house remodel, but it is looking like it might be another month before I am moving around very well. I have been ordering some fire arm stuff to improve a couple things, but wow you have to...

What is everyone working on? I have been laid up for awhile with an injury and am getting pretty bored out of my mind. It is spring and time to rock and roll, so it is taking a toll on me. Help a brother out and tell me what you all have been up to.

New M1A tanker had bad gas cylinder, was undersized.

Dude, I am not trying to argue with you. It is a free country and he and you can do whatever you want. I really do not care. I am simply pointing out that I would think that having an out of spec piston is more likely than a block. I also agree with 10mmLife as to why someone would not send it...

Bet it has. Have you ever taken your car in to be fixed? I bet you that you were charged by what the book says and not how long it actually took.

No, I am saying that if you call someone to fix your stuff, and I do not care if it is your car or something in your house and do not know much about it, chances are very good that you will get screwed in some way. Honesty is not one of mans greatest qualities when it comes to money. As far as...

My biggest problem with things like this are, I have played the fool many times in many different areas and it is almost certain that most, again most, people will sucker someone when they think they know more. You are taking someone else's word for it as to why the piston was hanging up. When...
