More of a ballistics question/load question. 3 rounds...best choice.
3" barrel +p rated Hellcat.
1. Federal Hi-Shok 147gr jhp 9MS
2. Federal Punch 124gr jhp PD9P1
3. Winchester M1153 147gr jhp
That's the extent of my on hand 9mm ammo. Getting to the range in the near future is problematic...
All of the firearms I have raised are very well behaved. Not once in over 50 years has any of them ever shot at something or someone accidentally.

10mm life says....
"The best advise for anyone is to avoid knife fights and any type of physical altercations and let go of egos no matter the training and only engage when all other options are off the table"
I says......Amen Brother
not sure who you're all taking jabs at, but it's very funny...... throw 6" of snow on the ground and scatter those trucks around a little and it would look like 95 north in Virginia.
Wolf Springs will probably have them soon, I just checked...not in the catolouge yet.

The M1153 147gr JHP (pictured in my avatar) is sometimes available at LAX or Freedom Munitions. I picked up a couple 50 boxes for under $30 each. I like them. I run the old school Hi-Shok 147gr ($25 for 50 @ Target Sports) in my full size Witness P-S and the 147 M1153 NATO in my Hellcat for...
You have the gen2 side charger. Mine is the original, which you have to keep an eye on or it'll come off. OK for a hunting rifle, not so much if you're at the range dropping lots of rounds. Or other situations where 100% reliability is warranted.
Not a Springfield but it's my brush gun none the less. .450 BM 18" carbine. This is an older photo, dropped the angled irons, added a Velocty 3# drop in trigger.
Bear Creek upper, PSA lower, KonusPro BXE 3x9-42mm w/450 turret.
