    Training WithVehicle

I've tried vehicle training out in the desert. I'm always scared I'm going to either shoot the top of my hood, or shoot my side view mirror. So, very slow, and always conscious of the sight height over bore. Also, I have a black truck, and the desert is the only place I can do this, so I've...

    Good range bag tool

Interesting, it's like a modern take on a SAK. Interesting because, LM started as a company to produce something that was like a SAK, but had pliers.

    Self Defense & Combat Arts

The difference between this and most neck workouts is the lack of neck flexion. This device relies more on isometric training of the neck muscles (holding neck still in place under resistance). So the risk of spinal injury is significantly reduced, due to lack of neck flexion.

Marjorie Taylor Greene Introduces Bill to Abolish the ATF

Is MTG the only republican with a spine right now? I think she is.

    I am SO Under-Trained... This Video is a Life-Changer

This was local to me, I don't know this guy personally, but we actually have a lot of mutual friends, as I used to be pretty heavily into the local amateur racing scene. His GF is actually a pro shooting competitor, but she was unarmed at the time.

    Self Defense & Combat Arts

Remember a couple years ago when the "knockout game", was trending all over the net. Basically youths making a game out of trying to ambush and knockout unassuming people trying to go about their business. Well, a stronger neck could potentially prevent someone victimized in such a way from...

HEAD TO HEAD: 6 MM ARC VS. 6.5 GRENDEL

I built a 224v AR back when it was being hyped. Seems the 2 calibers you mentioned are already making the 224v obsolete. My 1:7, 224v is still my only build that can shoot 1/2 MOA on a good day. I may have to pickup a 6mm ARC upper and compare, when ammo becomes more affordable.

    New Hellcat owner (well, almost)

Surprised to learn there's a 2A sanctuary in NJ. I've heard NJ castle doctrine has duty to retreat.

S&W says ammo shortage to continue

Ammo's been getting more plentiful where I am. 308 is actually back to pre-covid prices locally (which was always on the high side). 5.56/223 is only like a 25% markup compared to pre covid. 9mm and 22lr still around double of pre covid prices.

    What watches

My current rotation is 3 Seiko monsters (gen1 orange AR sapphire mod, gen2 black, mini monster white), and a mother of pearl deep blue master 1000. In the safe never worn are rolex datejust (gift from grandfather), and Seiko Guigaro (first gift from wife, while dating).

    AR Component Question

The PSA Premium BCG is basically a mil-spec Toolcraft bcg. Main differences from their run of the mill bcg, is the bolt will be c158 for sure, and it'll be both MPI and HPT, also the carrier will be phosphate coated, and chrome lined. When you buy PSA's run of the mill BCG, it's a crap shoot...

SILENCE! Hearing Protection Act Puts Suppressors Back in Play

This has about as much a chance of getting anywhere, as MTG's abolish the ATF bill. But imo, that doesn't mean we should try anyway. The left has been successful in shifting the goal post as much as they have because of decades of pushing

Driving with a Handgun: Best Practices

They left out the simplest solution. Lose the mid section, and you can draw seated, might have to lean forward a little. Before I was married, I used to do track days and autoX at least once a month. I don't think those skills really translate to defensive driving when running for your life...

Do you think Chipman is a straw man?

I think he was sending a message. That message being, "I will kill you and your family, by burning you all alive, just to get your guns".

I considered myself fit, as I had been lifting weights regularly for the past 7 years, ever since I got a pre diabetic diagnosis, and set out to reverse that, losing 40 lbs in the process. On Feb 20th of this year, I bought a used Schwinn Airdyne, in order to add HIIT cardio to my routine. I've...

This is good news. But I have a feeling it won't be much different as when the same judge struck down the mag limits.

Is the Polymer Lower a Good Idea?

I have a friend who did a poly lower build. It feels noticeably lighter, so makes sense for people that lack upper body strength.

Is the Polymer Lower a Good Idea?

If I was gonna do a poly lower build, I think I'd go with a KE Arms lower. Looks the most beefy on the most likely failure point. Plus gun jesus did a segment on it, and the design is decades old...
