DPM Mechanical Telescopic Recoil Reduction System

I had one of these for the AR platform. It was reliable, but would double tap from one trigger pull a couple times every mag. I would avoid using any other of their products, for legality issues.

What Is the Best Gun Barrel Material?

I've heard the Navy's railgun barrels are finished after 10 shots. So it's in need of better barrel materials to be viable as a hypersonic weapons platform.

Stronger Than Steel, Able to Stop a Speeding Bullet—It’s Super Wood!

It's cool tech, but according to the article it's worst than existing bullet resistant tech. This sounds like a refinement of particle board tech.

Declining Gun Shop Numbers …It’s Bill Clinton’s Fault

Eh, firearms are one of the few industries that aren't so vulnerable to the threat of big box stores. Ever tried to buy a gun at walmart? You're lucky if they find someone who can facilitate the paper work same day (even during a time when there wasn't a run on guns). Their prices suck too. Sure...

CNN Business - The fight against gun control has some surprising new allies

First hand witness account seems like to support the argument Rittenhouse shot in self defense. Either way, you completely missed my point. The MSM ignored the gun deaths in the no go zones. They ignored a warlord handing out firearms without background checks. But they they made the...

CNN Business - The fight against gun control has some surprising new allies

In the past year, the gun control mask has fallen off. The Autonomous zones, which are essential no go zones, showed us, they don't actually care about gun crime, or gun violence. No attention paid at all to the 30 or so gun deaths from those no go zones. Instead all the gun control rhetoric...

Bushnell AR Optics 1-8x24mm Review: Do You Need an LPVO?

I've got one of these in 1-4x when they first came out. Mine's FFP, and I feel like going SFP on the new ones is a downgrade.

Sig Romeo 5 for $109 @ Primary arms

This is probably the lowest these will go now. I miss the days these used to go down to $99 shipped on sale. At least I bought 3 the last time it happened.

Ammo is starting to become available again

I've been watching prices almost everyday https://www.wikiarms.com/group/22LR Prices have been trending down, and availability isn't gone within a day like it was before. Hopefully the trend continues.

    Gun Safes

Depends on the safe, some have mechanical keys. Worst comes to worst, know a good locksmith. My local locksmith actually always has a couple of safes in his showroom. Usually a result of someone who lost access to it, and asks him to get rid of it for them. He gets in, and gets them ready to...

    Ayoob: Is the .45 Obsolete?

Well, wherever you got your degree from, you should ask for a refund. Lets look at the formula for kinetic energy then. KE = 1/2mv^2 Again, a logarithmic relationship between mass and speed.

    Ayoob: Is the .45 Obsolete?

Acceleration due to gravity is a function of gravity, a bullet does not accelerate due to gravity, well a warning shot fired upwards eventually does. But not one fired from a firearm. My point was the relationship of mass and acceleration is not perfectly linear as you're implying, it's a...

    Ayoob: Is the .45 Obsolete?

What unit of measure is acceleration measured in? In physics, it's usually m/s^2, or meters per second SQUARED

Hard to believe this was real life

The problem with investing in ammo is, it's never worth selling at a profit.

Hard to believe this was real life

So basically, ammo outperforms gold as an investment.

    Ayoob: Is the .45 Obsolete?

You do realize the physics formula is F = MA^2 right? That's force equals mass times acceleration SQUARED. That means speed has exponentially more effect on force than mass.
