I think these are 20 years old, but I saw the same ammo on Midway's site for $54.99. Sixfold increase. I reluctantly bought some so I have something for my parents to use next time they want to target shoot :(

It’ll go back down, and some will be dancing in the streets when they’re paying $29.99.
but we’ll never see what it was 20 yrs ago or even last year, again...

Funny thing is, the 3 zillion new gun owners - or however many - from the last year or so will never know the diff.

Buffalo bore and underwood ammo recently had .38 and .357 in stock for their heavy duty rounds . Saw .38 avail yesterday at Buffalo Bore

I just bought a good order of stuff from here in the past few minutes based primarily on KillerFord's recommendation in post #15 above. Like benstt, I had never heard of them either, but after reading KF's post I decided to chance it. Although I must admit I'm usually a little skeptical of any grown man who actually uses 'Ford' in his handle. ;)

Much of their stuff is/was "Norma" brand and I know personally of "Norma" quality .... at least in their brass. I've been loading "Norma" brass for my .270's since the early 70's. I'm actually still using some of the original batch purchased for hunting loads.

I can't swear to anything yet except the order process, but I will say it was seamless, painless, straight forward and best of all ..... quick !!! I'll let y'all know when I get the order. Oh, I will say too they had more ammo, in more calibers, and at better prices than anywhere I've looked at in a while. (y)(y)(y)

Yep, I bought some, too. At least we'll know who to blame if either of our orders get screwed up :)

I actually made that argument to a friend yesterday. He was talking about investing in precious metals. I recommended, only half jokingly, that he invest in ammunition instead. It'd be a great bartering item if things every got really bad, and it's function would certainly be useful as well.

The problem with investing in ammo is, it's never worth selling at a profit.
