Gun Range Customers Defend Officer: Did You See This?

You should've seen how quickly the Vegas concert shooting faded from local media.

    Wives Who Carry

Getting my wife to carry was a 5 year effort. She was iffy about me even owning firearms when we were dating. The first week she moved in with me, a drug addict hopped my fence, and took a dump while playing with paving stones in my backyard. She got experience firsthand what a 6.5 minute...

Gun Range Customers Defend Officer: Did You See This?

Wow, I'm local, and I haven't heard this story. But then again, I'm not on social media, and don't watch broadcast TV. Range 702 is kinda a high priced touristy range imo. I've not gone there in years.

Home Defense vs Concealed Carry Gun

I'm not of the belief home defense and ccw weapon should be the same. I've always carried some sort of subcompact 9mm for ccw, and for home defense I stage an AR pistol. I equate it to the fire extinguisher vs fire hose argument. I've had to put out a dumpster fire on my property before. It...

HELP - Looking For Holster (Hellcat OSP, Laser/Light)

I got mine at https://slimfitholsters.com The finishing on the kydex cuts isn't the best. But there's no sharp edges, so it's only an aesthetics issue. Retention is strong, and the holster is slim and comfortable for me.

    Holographic site for XD

Not available for XD. But something like this is probably optimal for a pistol without a milled slide. https://www.leupold.com/shop/red-dots/series/deltapoint-micro

Self Defense Calibers: The Best and Worst Options

During the Sandyhook ammo shortages, there was a real argument to 40 s&w, as a hedge against ammo shortages. As it was more available than other calibers at the time. Crazy how this shortage blew that argument out the water, as 40 s&w is just as rare as 9mm right now.

HELP - Looking For Holster (Hellcat OSP, Laser/Light)

I bought mine BF, and wow, looks like it was released just a week afterwards. I may just buy one, and use the one I have on one of my XD9s

HELP - Looking For Holster (Hellcat OSP, Laser/Light)

There's no specific Streamlight TLR6 for the hellcat. I'm using the Springfield XD version of it on mine. The trigger guard area fit is loose. But I've been able to take out the slop by cutting a foam ear plug in half, and stuffing it where it meets the trigger guard.

Why I Was Wrong About Red Dots…

I'm using a Sig Romeo Zero on mine. It does feel chintzy, but so far it's been holding up to the round count. I haven't started edc'ing it yet though. The included screws needs a few threads shaved off, otherwise they're too long, and recoil will cause the battery to lose contact. It does...

HELP - Looking For Holster (Hellcat OSP, Laser/Light)

I went with option 3, in fact I just mailed my TLR6 out to these guys today. https://slimfitholsters.com I'm not sure which light/laser combo you have. But if it's a TLR6 (XD version), then https://slimfitholsters.com will likely be able to mold kydex for it after they get mine done.
