    B-17 Gunners vs. Luftwaffe

Thanks Tom! This article gives me a better understanding of my Uncle Jack's Ball Turret. He had 2 tours in Europe and then was an instructor stateside. That much unpressurized air time gave him an enlarged heart. He never spoke of the war much more than I stated above. JW

Cessna A-37 Dragonfly: Air Force Super Tweet

Great accurate article Doc. My dad was on the design team. He was assigned the engine nacelles, engine mounts, the strake and the entire wiring harness with which he had previous experience on those items with other Cessna Aircraft. Then spin characteristics with other employees. Cessna did...

How to Make a Kydex Holster

Now this is really interesting! 99% of the holster manufactures completely fail to cover or protect my slight roll of fat from the top side inside of the slide, sights, safety and sometimes the hammer. Today's modern bucket seats have extra padding on the seat to puddle your butt in but it...

Why I Carry with an Empty Chamber — Should You?

I really enjoy the Doc's articles! In this case ;^) , it's good food for thought. I've trained with the 1911 since I was 21. I use a double stack 9 now, cocked and locked. I just can't trust that faux safety on the trigger of the Glock style guns.

They lived it 24/7 and helped make up the team that made us the freest country in the world! Thank you!

WWII’s Most Bizarre Battle? Blimp vs. U-Boat

I don't have that pic, she kept all the photos and wouldn't share when we broke up. She had the pics of the two airplanes I learned to fly in also. Darn

WWII’s Most Bizarre Battle? Blimp vs. U-Boat

I had no idea. Thanks for the article. I was lucky enough to find the Goodyear blimp tethered and unattended so I reached under the gondola and lifted it over my head while my girl took the pic. Ha, she thought I was amazing ;^)
