Mr. Reese had the smarts to see the opportunity to acquire surplus parts to build his business & re-apply them into the initial SA line of M1As, the 1911 line, and the long-gone SA M1 Garands; and he was wisdom to bring other items from overseas, like the XD line including the IMBEL-made SA FALs back in the day.

My SA M1As are built with those original USGI parts (receiver aside) so I know they are as close to the originals as possible.

Good job Mr. Reese! RIP.
