From Dinos to Cyborgs: Hollywood’s Favorite Shotgun

I've always wanted a SPAS-12 because I grew up watching all of the movies it was in. Instead I settled for a working model of the SPAS-12 the Benelli M3.

Pistol Red Dots: Are Iron Sights Better?

One of my friends who carries a pistol with a dot has an issue were his dot hits his belt and pushes the slide out of battery when the gun is holstered in his IWB. He is looking into other holsters, but they are going to be higher ride and less concealed.

Pistol Red Dots: Are Iron Sights Better?

I use red dots on my target pistol, a Ruger MkIII and it's fine for that. However I have an astigmatism so I need the dot turned way down so it isn't just a random splash of red. Almost impossible to pick up quickly. I've tried red dots that are on friend's carry guns and I'm not yet able to...

When did you buy it? My first SIG w/ TW25B was a P230 in ~2000 My last SIG w/ TW25B was a P229 in 2015. My P210 came with Slip 2000 in 2020. I'd really like to know the reasoning behind the lubricant provided with a gun. Did the manufacturer do testing and determine Y lubricant was better than...

Dealing with the Unseen Threat: MIRA Safety Tactical Respirators

I do not see the usefulness of a half face respirator mask in a CBRN scenario. You need to protect your eyes as much as your lungs. The goggles in the pic above certainly will not do that, in fact most will not. Do not waste money on a half face mask. Get a full face mask for CBRN...

    5 Top Car Carry Options

A magnet is a terrible vehicle storage option. In a fender bender it is incapable of holding on to the gun. If that fender bender was the means to distract you, now you are unarmed. If it wasn't you still need to go looking for your gun

    Springfield Armory Garrison 1911 Review

SA has multiple 1911 pistols with front slide serrations. Also humidity does not render the rear slide serrations ineffective. Edit. Yes I sure did misread that, however SA does also produce several 1911s with front strap serrations.
