Do You Think the 1911 Is the Worst Gun for Cops?

The only problem with the 1911 today is the mindset and training of security guards and law enforcement. The 1911 was designed to put a bullet on target. Most people, even the FBI are trained to pop caps until the threat stops. I love to do some plinking, but I'm not a cap popper. I'm...

SA-35 Review: Dissecting Springfield’s New Pistol

Here's 10 rounds at 25 yards, from a porch rail. I'm spoiled with a 1911 trigger, this one is smooth but it's the typical 6-7 lbs. Girsan mc p35 Match

NRA-ILA Leadership Changes & Republicans Are In Trouble

GOA has been working in the court rooms and Washington DC. GOA has stood alone with the Bumpstock ban, they're still working on it. They've done work in several states to fight against bloomberg's Anytown laws and promoting Sanctuary Cities. The only thing I've ever heard from nra is give me...

NRA-ILA Leadership Changes & Republicans Are In Trouble

GOA, Gun Owners of America, surpassed the NRA years ago in keeping our 2A rights. They continue to fight about every day in Washington and state houses. They are worthy of your support, along with your state-gunowners.com I've had many bad things to say about the nra for several years.

Best concealed carry hostlers? Preferably the waist band

I'm a big fan of De Santos, Don Hume, Galco, and especially Cobra Gun Skins. Fobus makes a great paddle holster, if you want to go without a belt.

Best concealed carry hostlers? Preferably the waist band

The first handgun I carried full-time was a XD-G, I tried a few other plastic guns until I found my favorite. If I'm not carrying a 1911, it's just a substitute. I only carry own on my hip, usually in a leather pancake style. If I don't have a thumb safety, I'll use a thumb-break holster.

    1911 Choice

Thanks, I was biting my tongue. I'd love to have a smooth 1911 trigger with a 9mm, but I've got too much respect for JMB. I've settled with the ideal that the '35 is the best you can get in 9mm.

SA-35 Review: Dissecting Springfield’s New Pistol

I was anxiously searching for the SA, until I found the Girsan MC P35 Match. I think it's the sweetest '35 on the market. I'd still like to have the SA, but I can wait.

Should I Own Different Handguns for Concealed Carry and Home Defense?

I'm grateful to have a rotation that I love, and comfortable with, mainly 1911s. The Hi Point is probably the most underrated handgun out there. I usually have one when I'm traveling. The early 9mm had problems, but they fixed that over 10 years ago.

Should I Own Different Handguns for Concealed Carry and Home Defense?

You need at least 2 or 3. If your funds are low, I highly recommend a Hi Point, they are great truck guns. If you ever need to use your Carry gun, or even need to show it, the DA is going to hold that evidence. That's when I'm going to carry a spare and watch my back. In most states, until...

I Have A Big Decision To Make

Use ice on sore spots like that when they first happen, about 10 minutes on and 10 minutes off, for a day or two.

    good day at the range

I'm grateful to have a nice range from my front porch. I've got an addiction to shooting, especially 1911s. Though I can afford my addiction, I am frugal. I'm also grateful to have the 22cal GSG 1911 copies. I'm amazed the tan one has given me so many K rounds of service. When ammo went...

Leftist freaks removed from road with force…

I'm grateful to be in the Free State of Tennessee. A law was passed about 10 years ago that allows a driver the right-of-way through a human roadblock. And they just don't happen in TN.

    Gun Safes

I've been comfortable with a Harbor Freight, Union safe, it looks pretty good. I've admired the more expensive safes, but they don't seem to be better constructed. Save money on the fireproof brands, and make your own 1/2" sheetrock box, that's what you'd pay for.

    Happy 1911 Day!

The 1911 wasn't my first choice, but after we hooked up, we'll stay together. I'm grateful to have a few.

EAA Girsan MC P35 Hi-Power 9mm Handgun: Tested

I'm loving my 'P35 Match. I've polished it a little, and put almost 400 rounds through it. It is going to be one of my favorite carries, I'll be able to show you some wear marks on it before long. I changed the billboards, I think Samuel would like it to.

National Rifle Association's Cost of Corruption by Former NRA Director Rocky Marshall

Gun Owners of America, GOA, has been doing the greatest work preserving our 2nd amendment for the past 10 to 20 years. Idk of anything the NRA has done, except ask for more money. GOA has almost stood alone with Bumpstocks, they are still working on it. I've never heard of the nra making a...

    Show off your 1911

My favorite carries; You can tell by the wear marks that I love the Remington Commander. It's from the 2nd year production of the Huntsville plant, I'm sorry they closed. I'm a Kimber fan, I'm grateful to have the Ultra Carry, it's my 'Sunday go to meetings' favorite. Both stay on target at...

    Show off your 1911

1911s are like a Honda Goldwings; they're the finest, and they all look the same with a different color here and there. If I'm not carrying a 1911, it's just a substitute. This Kimber Gold Match is more of a safe queen than a carry. I don't want a DA to hold it, I'd let people die first.
