For now I'm stuck in Calif. with the 10 round limit, I too have tried pushing up on the magazine to help it to release, that is currently the only way I can barely get it out.

I wish that was my excuse, no problem with other 45's, 9mm's etc.

yes, looks like that will be the case.

Its an extremely difficult slide to pull open in the first place. I've got several auto's, no issues with any of the others.

First, this gun is factory new. I have a tough time ejecting my magazines (10 round double-stack) from my gun when loaded. Anyone else have this issue, is there a quick fix, or should I be sending this in to Springfield Armory. I need to use two hands, often pushing up on the magazines to help...
