    Short barreled non NFA rifle.

I’m mixed on this truly. Maybe it was bad council but I’d like to see the next ATF letter, if there is one that caused them to pull that stuff down. Chess match, or running with the first victory I don’t know. I’d tend to think it’s all part of the chess match.

Duty Pistol Round Up: Walther PDP vs Springfield Echelon vs Glock 45

There is a lot more to actually choosing a Duty, issue firearm than noted in that article. Glock is still prolific, Sig 320’s and M&P’s are likely the next two in terms of actually being agency fielded in my AO. While we did test the PDP and others recently it was ultimately not selected.

    Battle of the Echelon frames

I don’t know, it’s kinda a toss up but I kinda like the Sharps Bros but I don’t want wood grips. If the gun gets popular enough maybe Wilson or someone will get into the game and give a less expensive option as well.

    Hot Echelon Slide

I’ll wander back into this to say that it’s not a one gun issue. Thus far I’ve shot enough examples to be able to say that. I have a theory but I need to look into it more.

    Hot Echelon Slide

While I appreciate you now telling me it was deleted, it is true. I have never received the warning you posted nor can I find it anywhere. I’ll take that part of the discussing to a PM with you. Regardless, I took a level of interest in the OP’s statement and added some research and information...

Well, I now see that one of my posts was deleted. And no notifications from a moderator. Interesting.

    Hot Echelon Slide

Some preliminary information from the test last weekend. Please note this information is posted as research to the original posters claim, and something that I believe I noted as well. I had 29 shooters with different makes of pistol shoot the same drills with the same round count. Glock...

    Hot Echelon Slide

I decided to put some actual numbers behind the claim. I pointed out a fact, and stated I will gather some data. If someone feels insulted by facts I cannot help them. If someone is interested in the research, fine. If not, that’s fine as well. I’m certainly not the one who’s trolling.

    Hot Echelon Slide

The OP is correct, the Echelon does get hot faster than most other examples. 60 rounds is nothing in training. 10 bill drills, movement drills, etc. If I think about it enough I’ll look for my laser heat gun and get a few numbers. Gas piston guns like the P7 are different completely and yes...
