Great article post Anni. I love reading about historic firearms. This article reminded me of Chris Kyle's book "American Gun" where he list his top ten American firearms in US history. I have his book (which was completed after his tragic death), and it was a fantastic read. Below is an article that lists his top ten, which he goes into greater detail in his book.

In any such listing of great guns in American History, it's an impossible task to list them all. I have no argument with the list, I get it that article space is limited and there have been entire books written on the subject. My little collection of history is of a more modern era. But hey, they're all good, right?

Interesting, a few have MA ties. (as they should) #2 with the trigger lock. That is exactly what they would do over here. Next it will be trigger locks for water guns.
