Moving goalposts is what these people do best. Read that letter, it’s quite brief and subjective. This opens the door for 20-30, heck make it 101 more Executive Orders one from each of the co-sponsor twits.
Looking over the letter to Lunchbox Joe Robinette Jr. (45a*) there were a few (R) signing on but mostly (D) and from what I seen they were the entrenched type and not the ones clinging. Absent from the list is AoC +3 minus 1, mad Max & Nancy. Dems are polling the sentiment right now, but as soon as Joe get the nod from 44 perhaps after the 5 special elections to fill House Vacancies starting in April thru August which 3 Dem seats are open, so just when Sleepy will be allowed to get up and hobble over to or from underneath the Resolute to scribble on the parchment may be up 4 months away. And it’s likely he doesn’t read what he’s signing.
Then there’s the issue that Dems want to cancel, ban, forbid words, phrases, slogans, and of course mean looks (stink eye?) and thoughts. Concealable assault-style firearms is a very broad term the House Task Force is injecting as their justification. They’ve yet to redefine “assault” yet but I’m sure it coming.
The good thing is that EO’s can be revoked/rescinded and first order of bidness in 2022 for the 118th Congress could be the first and historic double Impeachment and thinking about, just how valid is a signature on an EO when the signatory is not of sound mind?
