He only has the 800x for now, because that's all the powder he could get!

With this comp I have run pressure as high as 43k and it barely ejects the cases. Without the comp it was bad, so I label that one comp only. 357sig

Hodgson site has only 1 load @9.8gr 1.260"=1,350 velocity with cci300. The only time I used mag primers when not listed was in 300bo and magnum powders were used. I've heard that when mag primers were used -1gr, but in this case it does5seen too be safe!!!

10, take 1 of your spent cases with a primer still in and fill it with 800x. Pour it and weigh it too see how much the case holds. Resize a case, then load a bullet to 1.260". Mark the bullet at case mouth. Remove bullet, then align the bullet mark at case mouth, then mark the case where at the bottom of the bullet. Add 800x to the line and weigh the powder. See what the difference is. 1.250 to 1.260" COAL. You can readjust COAL for 9.8gr of 800x by .002" until 1.250" and check pressure signs. This way you can check it against Hodgdon's 9.8 800x load.
