13 round mags XDm Elite Compact?

First post here. Long time Springfield owner and just purchased the new XDm Elite 3.8 Compact. Had it out to the range and it is phenomenal.

Springfield 's site and every review I read prior to purchasing says they come with two 14 round magazines. Mine came with two 13 round magazines. Anyone else have one yet and get 13's instead of 14's?

Did you try loading them yet?

There may be 13 numbered witness holes but may still hold 14.

Man, great point! I just tried and I can fit 14. But I can also cram 11 into my 10 round VP9SK magazine, load it and it doesn't function right. Will have to get out and shoot it to make sure. Why not just number 14?

Glad things worked out.

Load you mags full and let them sit for awhile so they can settle in before you shoot it.
