Chicago police said the 13-year-old was also carrying a gun.
The owner (who has a valid concealed carry license) pulled out a handgun and shot the kid in the leg, police said.

yeah, cuz the car owners life was not in danger, nor was the kid pointing a gun at him. i have been told in ccw class, that you do not go out and start shooting at someone, that's assault with a deadly weapon.

even some videos by well known people have mentioned about NOT going out and start shooting, Paul Harel comes to mind, in one of his videos.

if the guy approached the car, to say maybe he was going to go someplace, and the kid startled him and the kid fired a shot, then i'd have to say the owner would have been justified in a self defensive shooting.

Here in STL they are stealing Kias and Hyundais ( they are very easy to steal) and then driving them through gun store and pot dispensary windows so they can steal the guns and pot. These cars are so easy to steal that our venerable mayor, Tishaura Jones is threatening to sue Kia and Hyundai if they don't so something about it.

No, but 40 minutes south of St. Louis where I live there is at least one store I know that sells guns, ammo and beer.

KIA should do a recall and many KIA owners are talking class action law suit and TicToc should be sued out of business and shut down.
TicToc is doing nothing more than promoting violence and needs to be held accountable.

mine doesn't sell any alcohol, neither does any grocery store chain

Around here they still sell hunting rifles, ammunition, cigarettes ( I don't know if they sell cigars or pipe tobacco) and beer. The beer might be 3.2 beer though.

They sell alcohol here. They sell ammo a little further south. Here when they ditched handgun and AR ammo company wide we took it seriously. F Walmart. I wouldn’t buy ammo from them at 1968 prices.
