1910 M1903 re-barrel

I have had a 1910 M1903 for several years and I just noticed that the barrel has SA 7 42 on it. Where the M1903's reworked for WW11 or export?
 
You don't want to shoot modern ammo in that old girl as the receivers are weak. They weren't heat treated until S/N 800,000.
