1911 A1 Loaded

just recently purchased Springfield Armory 1911 A1 loaded with an internal locking system. What are your thoughts about internal lock?

Is this that safe lock thingy with the little hole on the mainspring housing ? If so, they deleted that on my Ronin .45.
Or maybe a firing pin block (series 80 device?) ?

On the newer manufacturered SA 1911’s, I found that they stopped using the ILS, I had several older SA 1911’s with that system, didn’t bother me at all, just never used it. SA never used the series 80 system, they instead used a titanium firing pin for a drop safety.

ILS - that’s what I was trying to think of. Never had it on one of mine.
