I have put over 500 rounds through mine and have experienced the following issues:
1. It is incredibly picky about ammo. Exclusively will only cycle ball ammo.
2. The ejector is now throwing cases back into my face. I thoroughly inspected it, and replacement seems to be in order.
3. Cleaning, specifically assembly is a nightmare.
4. The slide stop is sometimes impossible to get back in, I don't have "idiot scratches" yet, but it doesn't just snap into place like shown on numerous videos.
5. When I put it back together, the slide sometimes feels like it binds.
I shoot this firearm at least once a week, and I am not your average shooter. I compete in sporting clay tournaments throughout the Southeast and will quickly put 16,000 rounds through my shotgun by the end of 2025. I thought that because it was based on the original 1911 design, it could handle high-volume use.
Any pro tips to address the above issues? When it does shoot, it is incredibly accurate.
