1911 MIL-SPEC variations differences

Other than CA Compliant, finish, and price what’s the difference between the 1911 Mil-Spec and Defend your Lagecy 1911?
All I can see is grips when I scroll through SA’s website.
I’ve been looking at the Parkerized versions. All I can see is different grip scales. Please excuse me if I’m missing the obvious. I’m in recovery mode from a detached retina surgery in my non-shooting eye. Thanks

I pretty much agree with Anni’s answer, although I notice a difference in fit between my Ronin and Garrison. It’s possible the DYL isn’t as well finished on the inside as the logo-gripped Mil-Spec.
But my DYL is trouble free…

Both the same gun, except the grips are different, the defend your legacy guns come with 1 mag.
1 mag? The basic load for a M1911/M1911A1 is 21 rounds (3 7 round mags). 1 mag in the pistol. 2 mags in the mag pouch. Come on Springfield Armory. If you’re going to call it “Mil-Spec” it ought to be according to what the Field Manual says.

Actually there is no difference, your just paying the higher price for the grips and extra mag, fit and finish there is no difference
