The point is that Point of Impact changes, A LOT!! Your choice though.

The POI between 124 gr. HST and 124 gr American Eagle AND 124 gr. Sellior and Belott is the same. Blazer Brass is a little high compared to HST.

I've never tried the syntech ammo. I shoot a lot of American Eagle 147 fmj-fp and don't see much if any POI change with 147 HST. My guess is the train/defend ammo is somewhat expensive.

No, it really doesn’t.

Unless you’re really reaching out—north of 25 yards—the difference between POA/POI with, say a 115gr practice load and a 124 or 147gr carry load is not enough to matter, for most practical purposes.

Brah, if I was that worried about wear and heat, I'd never shoot. Personally I sight in with the personal defense rounds I'm going to carry.
This train and defend packages are nothing new, Winchester has been doing the same thing for a few years now. Their fmj rounds are "supposedly" the same consistency "feel" as their defense rounds.

IMO, Syntech ammunition functions as advertised, and can provide some distinct advantages. If it were closer in price to pedestrian FMJ range blasters, I'd shoot Syntech ammunition exclusively at indoor ranges.

Syntech is nothing new.

I’ve been reloading coated bullets for years…and the S&W/Federal Nyclad bullets came out in the 1980’s.

They work well for blasters.
