Hello all, here is today's article posted on TheArmoryLife.com. It is titled “Do Pistol Bullet Grain Weights Really Matter?” and can be found at https://www.thearmorylife.com/do-pistol-bullet-grain-weights-really-matter/.
I personally like a 124 at 1,200 or so
Have several boxes of Double Tap 230 gr Gold Dot earlier load that was rated at 1014fps from a five inch barrel. Also their 9mm 147 gr +P Gold Dots rated at 1125fps from a 4.5 inch barrel. Pretty impressive. That's exactly my standard as well. For 9mm JHP's the Gold Dot 124 +P is what I carry. For .40 Gold Dot 155 or 165 and .45 either Gold Dot or HST 230 +P
I'll have the 16 oz. Ribeye, medium rare pleaseDo steak ounce weights matter?
(Anybody else hear how stupid that sounds? “Grain Weight” is just as dumb.)
Pretty much the same with me, Ribeyes & Strips but medium.I'll have the 16 oz. Ribeye, medium rare please
For many years my fav steak was Ribeyes, eat more NY Strip now.I like a nice 8-10 ounce weight NY strip, m’self; a little past medium rare, but not quite medium.
Most satisfying!
Paired with a nice Cabernet of course! Or a Zinfandel if you like.I like a nice 8-10 ounce weight NY strip, m’self; a little past medium rare, but not quite medium.
Sounds good, my meds won't let me have booze of any kind. Doesn't mean I wouldn't like to just can't.Paired with a nice Cabernet of course! Or a Zinfandel if you like.
