2025 targets

I want to look into another AR and a shotgun. I would actually like to build an AR, but first things first. I am really partial to handguns but I want to get just as fluid with the long ones. Right now I have no solid plans, but we all know I have no self control (I told you, remember? ). I am actually looking forward to warm weather and the outdoor ranges opening.

You should definitely build your next AR. At least the lower and buy a high quality complete upper.

Build the AR. It is fun and can be done over time.

Now that I have the 4.25" Prodigy, I am wondering if I need the 3.5". My inquiring mind........

New guns? Brand new?

-S&W 632UC or 432UC. I got a 642UC last year, then a .32 Mag 431PD, so I hit all around.

-Sig P365 Fuse. I will red dot it, but keep going back and forth on whether to get it with the Sig sight or without and put a Trijicon on.

-I will be watching Lipsey’s to see what else may be coming in the way of S&Ws.
The 2025 SHOT announcements come close, but not quite there for me.

-Maybe a bolt action 300BLK for suppressor use. A big brother to my suppressed 77/22 Ruger.

Belladonna’s talk of building an AR reminded me I want to finish a lower receiver.
Since I already have the receiver, I don’t know if it counts as a new gun for 2025 or not. I’ll be awaiting a ruling.

Anyway, I want to make a Mk12/SPRish rifle. Somewhat hefty 18” barrel, scoped, nice trigger.
That’s a hole in my AR lineup.

The 6x45 in an AR has been calling me for years, too. Can’t explain it, but it’s there.

I'd like to get a Colt Single action army in 357 magnum, a lever action rifle perhaps a Winchester 1873 also in 357 magnum, an HK VP9A1 F and perhaps a commander sized 1911 and maybe if I can find one a Makarov pistol in 380.

I’m thinking about the new AP5SD and getting a proper ported barrel installed and a BT suppressor. I’m waiting for the moment because there seems to be a disturbingly wide range of QC going on with the SD at the moment. I think they may be rushing them to market.

Nothing specific. I passed need many years ago and my want list is short, hard to find and expensive.

My needs are simple. I need only one of each.

But seriously, my next couple of purchases will be an Echelon 4.5 Comp and something that shoots a .410 and .45 Long Colt. After that, we'll see what strikes my fancy.
