45 in a revolver

Have had a S&W 625 for decades. Don't shoot it much but its fun. Just got to get used to using moon clips.

They're made on a periodic basis. The pic isn't mine since I have a pre-lock but its the same barrel length.

Excellent article. Booya Sam does his usual outstanding job of finding all the strengths and weaknesses of the test gun, and honestly reporting them.

I have three .45 ACP revolvers, two old-school 25-2s and a 1937 Brazilian (same as M1917). Mine are about as accurate as the article gun, and, irritatingly, the ancient Brazilian M1917 is the most accurate of the three. I have NOT done any load development with them, just shot them with my standard all-round practice load of 5.3 grains of WW231 under a 200 grain cast lead semiwadcutter.
