B bjl95mustang Alpha Sep 6, 2024 #5 I contacted Wolff. They said they have had them break with a 24lb spring. But not with the 18lb. I have to go through the dealer I bought it from for the warranty. I got the gun used and the factory spring was worn out and the factory gr had a little wear. I’ll probably go back with a stock rod after this.

8 835mag Elite Sep 6, 2024 #6 Their rods are so hard they are brittle. I bought one to run in my 5.25 10mm. It broke during the first magazine. Wolff replaced it but it just sits in a drawer. Factory rod went back in to the gun with the Wolff 22lb spring.
