Where did you get the walnut hand guard? Mine needs that for sure.I've had mine for a little over a year and love it. Took almost 20yrs to get it though. Since I got it I've upgraded it with a Bassett scope mount with a Vortex Viper 6.5-20x50 scope, SEI muzzle brake, Sadlak NM guide rod, and got a walnut hand guard and a Bradley Cheek rest.
The company is DuPage Trading Company they're in AZ. The hand guard cost 40.00 and comes with the clip already installed. Just looked they are out of stock right now but it usually isn't long before they get them in stock. They've got all kinds of military stuff.Where did you get the walnut hand guard? Now we are talking my language !!i have a National Match M1A for 25+ years and and a Socom16. These are simply my favorite rifles to shoot. Did some hog hunting with both. They never let me down and they are devastating on hogs.
An M1A with a bayonet lug is how God intended it to be.Without the bayonet lug, it's kinda a compromise with tyranny.
