the bugler entered her home while she was asleep. hit her in the head in bed. handcuffed her to a chair. The man then goes searching for valuables. she slides the chair to her bedroom, get the gun under her pillow and shoots him when he returns and threatens her again. he shoots back. she is wounded and left for 10 hrs and disabled son finally brings her a phone. holy cow !!!
couple of things stand out.
she was able to shoot him point blank with a .357 but he was able to shoot back. shot placement.
he died, and she survived 10 hrs wounded with multiple gun shots. shot placement. thank god for her on that from perp.
fact she survived 10 hours wounded at 85 years old !!!
few more things stand out as well....
