Well, a new issue has developed. I have emailed Springfield for instructions on how to send in for repairs.

The new issue is that most of the time the hammer follows the slide forward, meaning it does not stay open and cocked. It will also not let me manually cock it. I think it's time a real professional takes a look.

I think you didn’t get the ejector put back correctly. But maybe you should send it in. Or take it to a local gunsmith. They’ll be able to fix it quick. Much quicker than sending it off.

Valid points. I'll take it to my range tomorrow, they have an affiliated gunsmith on site. I'll see what he says before shipping.

Sorry for the delayed update. I received my pistol back from Springfield a month or so ago. I could tell immediately that it would cycle much smoother. Took it to the range and had a flawless session. Not a single feed issue.
