But I think cutting a .38/.357 cylinder for clips came along later, AFTER 9mm revolvers appeared.I think they just used .38 clips.
I've been into clipped revolvers since the '80s. Bought my first Smith 25-2 (.45 ACP) about 1986. Been following them ever since, though I've never owned or shot a "clipped" 9mm or .38/.357.
