From what have seen locally on fuel prices, fuel companies are playing really sad pricing games, gouging wherever they can. Results of bored overpaid "desk jockeys" with too much time on their hands?

Pricing and availability tends to be relative, based heavily on locale.

We saw this in 2012-'13, and this round of craziness seems little different than the last in respect to these two factors.
