I know there is a lifetime warranty to original purchaser, but I am a freak for preventative maintenance.
Sounds like a good offer to me, what do you think?

Seems cheaper than Wilson Combat (and other semi-custom shops offer similar). I’m thinking just about any “experienced” armorer could do the same work/validation a bit cheaper. IMO, and IMO only, it appears Staccato is trying to elevate their brand.

If you like it and it fits your needs then go for it. Have you ever been to a gun store in Germany?
They’re not easy to find and the handguns are locked up in a safe. There’s no display cases.
The only long arms that are displayed are either “Sporting” or “Hunting” types. No Semi-automatic weapons.
Owning a handgun there is nearly impossible.
 
I’d entertain this package only because a lot of it is a PITA. I’ve had 1911s and 2011s down to bare frames and it is relatively easy to do, but there are a lot of kitchen table gunsmiths who’ve never seen the guts of a 1911 or 2011 and think a dremel is the answer to everything. And I suspect on the flip side, a lot of people don’t want to risk screwing up their $2500 gun or voiding the warranty.

Was it Gerber or Benchmade that assisted law enforcement in destroying seized firearms🤔
 
For me this seems like a reasonable price, it includes insured shipping to and from. ( about $75.00 round trip).
Would you take you Corvette to Joe's garage for service if it had a lifetime warranty from manufacturer?

Service includes:
  • Comprehensive Cleaning and lubrication
  • Full parts inspection for corrosion/wear & tear
  • Update components to current revision when necessary
  • Replace recoil spring (additional fees apply for CS & C)
  • Replace magazine springs(up to 4 magazines)
  • Test extractor tension and fitment
  • Test functionality of safeties
  • Test trigger fitment and adjustment
  • Verify trigger weight
  • Verify proper optic/plate installation for optics mounted by Staccato
  • Apply new Loctite on all appropriate screws and torque to spec
  • Polish feed ramp and chamber
  • Inspect ejector for damage and fitment
  • Test fire for function
  • Confirm POA/POI & re-zero optic as necessary for optics mounted by Staccato
  • . $2500.00 handgun is an understatement.

I doubt local smith could touch that price and certainly would not risk lifetime warranty to find out. Peace
