On April 18, 1775, Paul Revere and William Dawes set out to warn militias across Massachusetts of approaching British troops.
The troops were heading to Concord to confiscate weapons.
Revere and Dawes arrived in Lexington around midnight.
Then, joined by Samuel Prescott, they continued towards Concord.
Revere and Dawes were captured by the British on the way, but Prescott escaped and alerted Concord."

and did you know paul was most likely drunk as a skunk my rides end when he was captured , as all the places he stopped to let them know, were houses of brew
at the time these pubs or meeting rooms were full of brew, as thats how they kept members its a funny part of history all right

This quote from shaneba's post #1 above is some very heavy thinking:

I fear our once great country is on a 'fast track' downhill slope to not preserving it for much longer. I'm also very afraid that once lost, it will never again be regained. What a shame!!!
