I guess “Perfect for Pocket Carry” depends on what type of pocket. I had an article come across my feed this morning titled, “Top Ten Micro Pistols Under $300 Perfect for Pocket Carry.” Most of the choices were pretty much standard fare like the Bersa 380 and the Ruger LCP but I had to laugh out loud at the 9th choice on their list. Number 9 was the Hi-Point C9, which is hardly a micro pistol nor a pocket pistol in my opinion. Obviously, whoever wrote that article never held one of those Hi-Point bricks in his hand.

I think personally the 442 or the 638 are probably the best examples of a pocket gun. I am not personally a big pocket pistol person, I think this is the revolvers domain, like I said personal opinion only.
One of the handguns I learned to shoot on was a SW Terrier snubnose and I felt it was the perfect pocket size, for my hip oocket where i love to carry my pocket gun. Thats where i carried them playing cops and robbers and where i prefer them today. So when I went out to buy a pocket revolver I found the Taurus .380 was a close fit and could not pass it up. So for me, right now, that is my number one pocket handgun and it getscarried about 75 percent of the time these days.

Most of the online articles on guns I've seen are made by idiots or non-gun people. I'm not a fan of "best" articles of any kind as they often exclude fine examples while including sub-prime or dubious candidates. Much of this I see are found on MSN online. I check this to see what the opposition is up to.
We all have our biases, preferences and experiences. What works for me may not work for you. We do live in very good times as far as choice goes and with the myriad of options out there, something awaits for you in whatever category you look to fill.

I would say times previous were better for gun owners. Less restrictions. Before all this “ban” stuff you could buy a BAR, M16, thompson, etc, etc …

I think that’s some rose tinted glasses there. Let’s face it, the selection of guns available today from the cheapest to the most expensive are astonishing and the quality is off the charts. Granted you can’t buy a machine gun cheaply, but you can buy one. And restrictions suck for those dealing with them, but for majority of us we are enjoying an age of riches. Or so my accountant tells me…

Yeah I'm not sure how anyone can think the quality of firearms today is off the charts compared to "Previous" times. Most of them are plastic. And as much as I love me some plastic guns and I will concede capacities are higher and concealability is better, the quality isn't the same as the old cold steel.So a Hi Point and Turkish shotgun quality are off the charts …
