AC delivered to wrong house

The wife and I installed it. It was a bit different since the window was fixed. Cleaning up the caulk that sealed it in took the most time. I made a box to raise up the wall and used a piece of plywood on top of the unit as the "window." Inside of 10 minutes the bedroom was pretty cool and dry. It's quiet. Showered and time for lunch.

once the room is cooler, and drier? you might find that if you turn down the cooling control, and just run with the fan, it can be a comfortable room......it's the humidity that kills us.

nearly every night, we get our bedroom cool, and dried, and i'd say after about an hour's worth of cooling, that's what we do, and sleep very well with just the fan in the unit running, usually medium speed.

that's if yours is in the bedroom.

all other rooms, same thing applies, for us at least.
