It was a small plane, not an airliner.
This is a coincidence. Small planes tend to have more issues, and it seems like there’s been more small planes crashing/landing on highways, etc, the past few years; however, I don’t know if that’s really true, or the fact that our news cycle is more likely to report them, coupled with more access to multiple news sources.

They’re showing the clip over and over and it almost looks like a piece of something. They keep saying it was a small plane. Left a large debris field.

They are reporting that 6 people were on board the plane. Two pilots, two doctors, one patient and a family member. This was no Cessna.

More reports. Supposedly, a medical oxygen tank marked as being from the jet was found about 1/4 mile from the crash site. Some confusion/contradiction as to how many on board.
