I think all that stuff only screams tactical to other people who wear or use it. It's like using my rare, VERY heavy, extremely bad ass sounding, all tube, SVT II non pro on bar gigs. I could use a 5 lb amp that fits in my pocket and the punters wouldn't know the difference.
